Privacy Policy

This policy explains what data Slideys (slideys.app) collects, why, and what your choices are. Short version: we collect what the product needs to work, we don’t sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it.

1. What we collect

• Account data: your email address, name (if provided by Google sign-in), and password hash (managed by our auth provider, Supabase). We never see or store your plain password.
• Onboarding answers: your niche, platform, goal, and account size, used to personalize your slides and templates.
• Your content: the app names, websites, logos, photos, and slideshows you create or upload. Uploaded files are stored privately per account.
• Billing data: handled by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status, never card numbers.
• Technical basics: standard server logs (IP address, browser type, timestamps) from our hosting provider, used for security and debugging.

2. What we don’t do

• We don’t sell or rent your personal data.
• We don’t run third-party advertising or tracking pixels.
• We don’t use your content to train AI models; slide rendering happens in your own browser.

3. How we use data

To provide the service (render and store your slideshows), personalize your experience (niche-matched templates), process payments, keep the service secure, and communicate with you about your account. Legal bases where GDPR applies: performance of contract, legitimate interests (security, service improvement), and consent where required.

4. Who processes data for us

• Supabase - authentication, database, and file storage
• Stripe - subscription billing
• Vercel - hosting and content delivery
• Google - only if you choose Google sign-in

Each processor receives only what it needs to perform its role and is bound by its own data-processing terms.

5. Cookies

We use essential cookies only: they keep you signed in. No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account exists. Delete your account (or email us) and we remove your profile, projects, and uploaded files within 30 days, except records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons (for example invoices held by Stripe).

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Email us and we’ll handle it; you can also complain to your local data-protection authority.

8. Security

Data is encrypted in transit, storage access is scoped per account (row-level security), and payment details never touch our servers. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the attack surface small.

9. Changes

If we materially change this policy, we’ll notify you by email or in-app notice before the change takes effect.
